Step directly from the main street of the bustling, market town of Southwell into 63 King Street. Our beautiful, listed, two bedroom cottage is full of original beams, low ceilings and character. As soon you enter, you'll feel right at home with the homely atmosphere of the historic property. With comfortable furnishings and vintage pieces, the downstairs area is perfect for small gatherings and short breaks.
(Please note to the age of the property in addition to the low height of the ceilings, there is a steep, narrow staircase)
Rustic Charm
Exposed beams and vintage furniture create a welcoming ambience in the downstairs living room and dining room. Sunlight filters through the Yorkshire sash windows, illuminating the space with a soft glow creating the perfect space to eat, relax and spend time together.
Cottage Kitchen
At the rear of the cottage is the kitchen, the charming handpainted design with stone floor includes integrated dishwasher, induction hob, oven and washer/dryer machine.
Master Bedroom
Relax in the master bedroom with king size bed and luxurious Portuguese bed linen.
Double Room
The other bedroom features original beams, painted panelling and a cosy double bed with luxury, Portuguese bed linen.
Jack & Jill Bathroom
The cottage features a Jack and Jill shower room, neatly connecting the two cosy bedrooms.
A Bit More Information
All bed linen and towels are provided at the cottage. There is no parking at the cottage, but there is a payable car park directly behind the cottage or free parking nearby on Burgage or Burgage Lane. BP Pulse electric car chargers are also located nearby The Bramley Centre & Library Car Park and BP fuel station.
Sorry, no pets and no smoking or vaping at the cottage. Please be aware of the accessibility with the low ceilings, beams and steep staircase, particularly with getting upstairs. The only toilet is located in the bathroom upstairs.
The cottage is currently a TV and Wifi free zone. The outside yard is currently empty and shortly to be renovated.
The minimum stay is 2 nights and £120 per night based on 2 people sharing, additional guests at £20 each per night. Full payment is required 42 days prior to arrival.
